1. Agreement
By using ittypingtest.io you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
The typing test, trainer and leaderboard are free. The verified typing certificate is a one-off paid product (currently $2.00 USD) — no subscription is created and you are never charged again.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard; deletion is permanent.
4. Certificates & eligibility
Certificates are only available to signed-in users who have completed at least 3 typing tests and whose payment has been confirmed. A certificate reflects your best verified result at time of purchase. Certificates carry a unique verification code that anyone can check free of charge; misrepresenting or forging certificates is prohibited.
5. Payments & refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. Because the certificate is generated and delivered immediately after payment, it is a digital product supplied instantly; where local consumer law permits (including UK/EU rules on immediately-supplied digital content that you consent to receive), the purchase is non-refundable once the certificate has been generated. If something goes wrong — e.g. you were charged but received nothing — contact us and we will make it right.
6. Acceptable use
You must not: use bots, scripts or auto-typers; attempt to manipulate the leaderboard; probe or attack the service; or infringe others' rights. Our ML integrity system may flag and void suspicious results.
7. Intellectual property
The site, engine, design and content are our property or licensed to us. You retain rights to text you paste into custom mode, which is processed locally in your browser.
8. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and limit our total liability to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including under UK/EU consumer law).
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
