1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We also use localStorage, a similar browser feature, for preferences that never leave your device.
2. Cookies we use
- Session cookie (essential) — keeps you signed in and protects forms against CSRF attacks. Expires when your session ends.
- XSRF-TOKEN (essential) — security token that protects requests you make while using the site.
- Locale/session preferences (essential) — remembers your chosen interface language.
3. localStorage we use
Theme choice, interface language, sound/caret settings and trainer progress are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
4. Payment cookies
During checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies on stripe.com pages for fraud prevention. See Stripe's cookie policy for details.
5. Analytics & advertising
We do not set third-party advertising cookies. If analytics are enabled by the site owner, they are configured without cross-site tracking.
6. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in and certificate purchase from working. EU/UK visitors: essential cookies do not require consent; we do not load non-essential cookies without it.
